Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Specialist – North America with strong expertise in the POS industry, technical integrations, and partner development to drive our expansion in the region. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience navigating the POS ecosystem, building strategic partnerships, supporting onboarding and implementation, and helping merchants and resellers maximize value through OneHubPOS.

Key Responsibilities

Market and Industry Development

  • Identify, qualify, and engage potential channel partners, resellers, and enterprise clients within the POS ecosystem.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory requirements in North America’s POS landscape.

Partner & Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with ISOs, VARs, payment processors, and technology partners.
  • Develop joint go-to-market strategies and collaborate with partners to drive brand visibility and sales growth.

Sales & Growth Execution

  • Achieve revenue and partnership growth targets through structured business development activities.
  • Lead negotiations, proposals, and contracts with prospective partners and clients.

Technical Expertise & Onboarding

  • Work closely with product and implementation teams to ensure smooth partner onboarding and customer deployments.
  • Provide guidance to partners on technical setup, integration, and product functionalities to optimize adoption.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Liaise with marketing, product, and customer success teams to deliver a cohesive partner and customer experience.
  • Provide feedback from the field to influence product enhancements and market positioning.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: 5–8 years in Business Development / Channel Sales / Partner Management—with at least 3 years in the POS / Payments / Retail Tech industry in North America.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of POS solutions, integrations, onboarding, and implementation processes.
  • Relationship Skills: Proven ability to establish and scale strategic relationships with resellers, channels, and technology partners.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong negotiation, business case development, and deal-closure skills.
  • Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Self-Starter: Able to work independently with a proactive, growth-driven mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with cloud-based POS systems or SaaS retail technologies.
  • Knowledge of payment processors, merchant services, and retail technology ecosystem.
  • Track record of building and scaling channel/partner networks in North America.
